Job summary

Department of Transportation seeks a Support Manager to plan and direct operations in a terminal or en route facility in Colorado. The role includes directing support activities such as training, quality assurance, traffic management, airspace and procedures, and related programs.

Candidates must demonstrate specialized experience, with one year in FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or higher, facility rating, or MSS position in an ATS facility.

Qualifications

• Must have held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or HQ position for at least 1 year (52 weeks).
• Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year in an ATS facility.
• Must have held an MSS position for at least 1 year in an ATS facility.
• Eligible to apply for MSS positions must have held an MSS2, MSS3, MSS4 or FG-2152-14/FV-2152-J (not CPC) or above for at least one year.

• Direct multiple support activities such as training, quality assurance, traffic management, airspace and procedures, plans and programs.

Job description

Serves as a Support Manager in a terminal or en route facility, responsible for planning and directing the operations in the facility; or planning and directing multiple support activities for the facility such as training, quality assurance, traffic management, airspace and procedures, plans and programs, and other facility program areas.

Candidates must show specialized experience which is defined as:

1) Must have held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for at least 1 year (52 weeks); OR

2) Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility; OR

3) Must have held a MSS position for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility

In addition to the above qualifications for MSS positions, to be ELIGIBLE TO APPLY for this vacancy applicants must have held an MSS2, MSS3, MSS4 OR FG-2152-14/FV-2152-J (not a CPC) or above regional or headquarters position for at least one year (52 weeks).
