Job Title: Supervisory Aide - Cafeteria and Playground Supervision
Reports To: Building Principal
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Work Schedule: Follows the Student Calendar. Anticipated 2.5hour days (10:30am - 1:00pm)
Pay Range follows the 2026-2027 Supervisory Aide Pay Schedule ($17.42-23.42per hour - based on experience).
This is a perfect position for a parent/guardian wanting to follow their child’s schedule or someone with a flexible schedule hoping to make some extra money.
Under the direct supervision of the Building Principal, the Middle School Supervisory Aide ensures a safe, orderly, and positive environment during non-instructional periods. This role focuses specifically on managing student behavior and safety in the cafeteria and on the outdoor recreation grounds. The Aide supports the social-emotional development of middle school students by enforcing school-wide behavioral expectations and intervening in peer conflicts during lunch and transition times.
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
Successful prior experience working in a supervisory position in a school district or with children is preferred.
Certification/License: Paraprofessional or Substitute License is preferred.
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal.
