U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Aviation Integration Directorate, Fort Eustis, VA, is seeking a Supervisory Aerospace Engineer (NH-04, GS-14/15).

This position leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for airworthiness testing and safety analyses of mission systems. Qualified applicants have specialized experience in testing airworthiness of rotary, fixed-wing, and unmanned aircraft, and in applying system engineering and program management to aviation problems.

Qualifications

• Experience required: at least one year of experience preparing you to do the work.
• Specialized experience includes testing the airworthiness of mission systems on rotary wing, fixed wing and/or unmanned aircraft.
• Ability to lead a team to accomplish organizational goals.
• Competency in Aerospace Engineering, Leadership, Project Management and Systems Engineering.

About the Position:

Serves as a Supervisory Aerospace Engineer for the US Army Aviation and Missile Command, Aviation Integration Directorate, located in Fort Eustis, VA. This is a pay banded position. The NH-04 band encompasses grades 14 and 15 under the General Schedule (GS) system.
