SemiTorr Group, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to ensure efficient operations at Livermore distribution facilities. You will oversee SOP compliance, cost controls, and performance across assigned areas, and you may assume manager duties as needed.

The role requires training staff to meet department goals and safeguarding a safe working environment. You will handle asset protection, inventory and vendor management, open/close the distribution center, address customer issues, and support

Job Information:

The Warehouse Supervisor ensures efficient operations of one or multiple locations and/or distribution centers. Responsibilities may include financial management, operational performance and analysis, planning and execution, distribution, fleet management, inventory management, vendor management, and leadership, including performance management. Not responsible for sales. Manage designated areas of Warehouse Operation, oversee functional areas, and perform manager’s duties as assigned. Responsible for consistent application of SOP’s (Standard Operating Policies) and associate administration in the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trains staff to ensure attainment of department performance goals
• Manages and ensures successful achievement of performance goals of assigned functional areas
• Controls warehouse expenses
• Ensures compliance with all personnel policies
• Ensures a safe working environment for all associates including surveying facility for repair and maintenance items,promoting and managing safety programs; ensuring policy adherence for worker’s compensation and general liabilityissues
• Ensures the Asset Protection and Hazmat programs are enforced
• Opens and closes the distribution center, authorizes refunds, and handles customer problems
• May act as manager and performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Technical certification or Associates degree may be required in some areas
• Generally, 5 to 7 years of experience in related area of responsibility

• Working a full day in a non-climate controlled warehouse setting

This role operates in a professional office and warehouse environment. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
