Position Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, aligns activities with company goals, ensures compliance with FDA/GMP guidelines, and maintains safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervises activities related to the development and management of the organization’s supply chain.
- Oversees the work of a team that coordinates the movement of raw materials, in-process goods or completed merchandise.
- Administers strategies to optimize inventory levels and support business objectives.
- Forecasts demand or predicts inventory needs based on analysis of historical data.
- Maintains contact with vendors and submits purchase orders or requisitions to ensure continuous supply.
- Uses working knowledge of the field’s policies, procedures and practices.
- Responsible for department safety and training.
- Leads and directs the work of other employees.
- Has authority for personnel decisions regarding hiring, performance or disciplinary actions.

- Full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures.
- Provides direct supervision to a group of employees, assigning tasks and checking work frequently.
- Handles performance management and hiring recommendations.
- Uses judgment to resolve day‑to‑day problems.
- Engages primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, peers and external contractors/vendors.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2–4 years of related experience.
- Secrecy and invention agreement and non‑compete agreement.
- Availability to work non‑standard schedule as needed.
- Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
Desired:
- Professional certifications in relevant industry.
Physical Demands
While performing duties, the employee typically sits and talks or hears, uses hands to handle and reach, sometimes stands or walks, and occasionally lifts or moves up to 50 pounds.
- Light work – Exerting up to 20 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, or negligible force constantly.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and reaching – occasionally, frequently, or constantly as described below.
Work Environment
- Office, production/manufacturing, and warehouse environments.
- Noise intensity: moderate.
- Exposure to moving parts and toxic or caustic chemicals in some areas.
Compensation
Salary Range: $67,261 – $84,076 per year.
