Responsibilities

  • Organize and schedule the department workload to process materials efficiently from receipt to destination.
  • Supervise handling, checking, and distribution of materials.
  • Review discrepancy reports and initiate corrective actions or escalate as needed.
  • Contribute to defining departmental policies and procedures.
  • Support processing of discrepant/obsolete materials for timely removal from production floor or warehouse.
  • Direct or assist with cycle count programs and periodic physical inventory.

Summary:

Supervise warehousing personnel and systems, and direct daily operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Organize and schedule the department workload in order to provide an accurate and efficient method for processing materials, once received, to their ultimate destinations. Supervise the proper handling, checking, and distribution of these materials.
  • Review problems and discrepancy reports and either execute effective corrective actions or contact the appropriate personnel for resolution
  • Contribute to defining and implementing departmental policies and procedures
  • Support Discrepant/Excess/Obsolete material processing to assure timely removal from production floor or warehouse
  • Direct or conduct cycle count program for assets, or assist in periodic physical inventory of production materials
  • Resolve issues with BAAN ERP models for Warehousing and Inventory Control
  • Regularly inform management of the status of all work activities
  • All employees are responsible for the quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds customer satisfaction.

Compensation Range: $63,328.00 to $79,992.00 USD. Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
