Principal Accountabilities
In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Distribution Center Operations

  1. Supervises assigned functions related to the physical shipping and receiving of inventory to ensure that all records are accurately maintained, inventory properly controlled, and orders filled in an efficient and timely manner.
  2. Participates in development of shipping and receiving, quality, and rework processes to ensure maximum efficiencies are gained and performance standards are met.
  3. Supervises the coordination of inbound and outbound carrier schedules and appointments to meet targeted time frames.
  4. Communicates and ensures adherence to customer compliance requirements for all outbound shipments.
  5. Communicates and ensures adherence to the accurate picking and putting away to meet bin accuracy goal.
  6. Recommends improvements for space utilization within designated area(s) of the warehouse.
  7. Prepares reports and communicates performance results to team members and management.
  8. Actively supports, and executes safety, security, and facility maintenance programs.
  9. Ensures the effective use of warehouse resources within assigned area(s) to maximize efficient use of labor to meet shipping and receiving, inventory, and customer service goals.
  10. Ensures all new hires are trained.
  11. Communicates and ensures everyone in the team are working toward team goals.
  12. Makes recommendations for the continuous improvement of warehouse policy and procedures.

Quality and Environmental Management Systems

  1. Ensures adherence to Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001-2000) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001) programs.
  2. Participates in third party audits of the systems.
  3. Participates in the management review meeting.
  4. Actively participate in 5S program (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain).

Relationship Management

Responsible for hiring, motivating, evaluating, developing group/department personnel.

  1. Provides coaching and mentoring to team members.
  2. Advises management and provides recommendations on personnel and problem issues ( that require escalation).
  3. Builds strong relationships with peers and Senior Managers to best meet company goals and objectives.
  4. Manages and leverages relationships with vendors for a specific product/service (best price, best product, etc).
  5. Maintains professional relationships with peers in other corporations and outside organizations.

Department Management

  1. Operates within budgetary constraints, participates in the development of annual budget forecasts; participates in updating and reconciling operating and budget plans as required.
  2. Develops and maintains written departmental standards and procedures.
  3. Directly contributes to development of tactical and annual operating plans, defining goals and objectives for the group.

Physical Requirements:

Carry/lift loads of Moderate (20-50 pounds)

Responsible for supervising assigned warehousing activities, including receiving, storage, inventory, rework, and shipping, and SD Configuration material staging to ensure quality standards and customer needs are met, and overseeing facility maintenance activities, such as maintenance of material handling equipment, janitorial, electrical, fire pump.

Collaborates with/Key Customers include Branded and FAR Operations, and SD Sales and Marketing, and resellers.

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $82,000 (.80 compa ratio) and $103,000 (1.10 compa ratio). Please note that this position's salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
