The Supervisor is responsible for assisting in planning, directing, and coordinating operational and personnel activities to ensure the provision of quality services to meet the needs of those served by his/her area(s) of responsibility and scope of role. Leadership is provided based on the Mayo Clinic’s mission, vision, and values. The role includes ongoing collaboration and communication utilizing shared goal setting and decision making with physicians, associate providers, department staff, and multidisciplinary team members. The Supervisor will maintain a professional environment and on-going development of his/herself and staff. The Supervisor applies current leadership and management theories to daily management of team. Assists in the development and implementation of operational plans.
Graduate from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy or healthcare related field or must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Actively pursuing is defined as meeting the admitting University’s qualification as an active student. Bachelor's degree completed within 2 years of hire.
