Job summary

Blue Line Distribution, the in-house distributor for Little Caesars Pizza, is hiring a Transportation Supervisor for our Dallas, TX facility. You will lead the transportation department, manage driver schedules and routes, and drive safety and efficiency across the fleet.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of supervisory experience, strong regulatory knowledge (DOT/FDA/OSHA/CSA), and proficiency with MS Office and onboarding systems (PeopleNet, Appian). Fleet maintenance experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of supervisory experience in transportation.
• Strong understanding of DOT, FDA, OSHA, CSA compliance and related regulations.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes; experience with onboard systems (PeopleNet, Appian).
• Experience in fleet maintenance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transportation department in strategic and day-to-day activities.
• Manage schedules and routes to meet customer delivery needs while minimizing cost per case.
• Create and manage transportation goals identified in the strategic plan.
• Ensure productivity goals and safety standards are met; enforce company policies and regulations.
• Monitor driver routes, stops and deliveries; ensure logs are accurate and timely.
• Develop maintenance schedules to ensure high performing vehicles; train drivers on procedures.
• May conduct driver ride-alongs to verify performance.

We are now hiring for a Transportation Supervisor at our facility in Dallas, TX.Your Mission:In this role, you will assist in leading the transportation department in strategic and day-to-day activities, from managing schedules and routes to creating and managing transportation goals identified in the strategic plan. You will be responsible for productivity goals and standards, DOT compliance and safety, and provide industry-leading quality service. This position will include managing the driver colleagues.How You’ll Make an Impact:Assure the most efficient delivery schedule that satisfies customer delivery needs while ensuring the lowest total distribution cost per case.Manage the monitoring of driver routes, stops and deliveries and ensure that all required logs are accurate and completed on time.Develop maintenance schedules and procedures that ensure high performing vehicles and equipment while maintaining adequate coverage for deliveries.
