Job summary

DP World is seeking a Training Supervisor at our Eagle Mountain, UT site to own the end-to-end learning experience for team members. You will verify safe task performance and deliver onboarding, hands-on floor training, and trainer development.

This role reports to site leadership and requires collaboration with Operations, Safety and HR to drive continuous improvement. Ideal candidates have automotive or logistics quality experience and strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive or logistics with a quality focus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral.
• Ability to interact with DP World team members and all levels of customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured, role-based training plans for assigned pillars.
• Coordinate and deliver new-hire onboarding, orientation and hands-on floor training.
• Develop work instructions, job aids and materials aligned to SOPs.
• Maintain Train-the-Trainer programs and coach SMEs selected as trainers.
• Assess employees for task competency and identify gaps with targeted development plans.
• Monitor training effectiveness via assessments, floor observations and KPI data.
• Track training records, certifications and ensure audit readiness.
• Partner with Operations, Safety and HR and report training progress to site leadership.

About the Role

How you will contribute

• Training Design & Delivery
• Develop and implement structured, role-based training plans for assigned pillars.
• Coordinate and deliver new-hire onboarding, orientation, and hands-on floor training.
• Develop work instructions, job aids, and instructional materials aligned to current SOPs.
• Maintain Train-the-Trainer programs; select, coach, and evaluate SMEs assigned as trainers.

Competency & Assessment

• Assess employees to verify they are competent to perform assigned tasks independently within assigned pillars.
• Identify skill and performance gaps and implement targeted development plans.
• Monitor training effectiveness using assessments, floor observations, leadership feedback, and operational performance data.
• Connect learning outcomes to safety, productivity, quality, and other operational KPIs.

Documentation & Compliance

• Track SOP compliance and elevate deviations.
• Maintain training matrices, certification records, and competency documentation.
• Keep training records accurate, current, and audit-ready at all times.

Partnership & Reporting

• Partner with Operations, Safety, and HR as an individual contributor — influencing without direct authority.
• Provide site leadership with regular updates on training progress, trainee status, competency levels, and areas requiring additional support.
• Identify gaps in the training program and recommend improvements
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• Experience working in an automotive or logistics environment working in a quality capacity.
• Above average interpersonal, organizational and communication skills - written and oral to deal with a wide range of customers-both internal and external.
• Ability to communicate and deal with a variety of people including DP World team members as well as all levels customer from managerial to hourly.
• Excellent trainer skills and abilities.
