Job summary

DP World in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Training Supervisor to own end-to-end learning for our team, ensuring each member can perform tasks safely and independently. You will drive structured, role-based training and on-floor coaching to accelerate capability.

The role requires strong trainer skills, effective communication, and the ability to influence without direct authority across Operations, Safety, and HR, delivering regular progress updates to site leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive or logistics with a quality focus.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external customers.
• Ability to engage DP World team and all customer levels from managers to hourly workers.
• Excellent trainer skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement structured, role-based training plans for assigned pillars.
• Coordinate and deliver new-hire onboarding, orientation, and hands-on floor training.
• Develop work instructions, job aids, and instructional materials aligned to current SOPs.
• Maintain Train-the-Trainer programs; select, coach, and evaluate SMEs assigned as trainers.
• Assess employees to verify they are competent to perform tasks independently within pillars.
• Identify skill and performance gaps and implement targeted development plans.
• Monitor training effectiveness using assessments, floor observations, leadership feedback, and KPIs.
• Connect learning outcomes to safety, productivity, quality and other operational KPIs.
• Track SOP compliance and elevate deviations.
• Maintain training matrices, certification records, and competency documentation.
• Keep training records accurate, current, and audit-ready; partner with Operations, Safety, and HR.
• Provide site leadership with regular updates on training progress, trainee status, competency levels, and areas needing support.
• Identify gaps in the training program and recommend improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• Experience working in an automotive or logistics environment working in a quality capacity.
• Above average interpersonal, organizational and communication skills - written and oral to deal with a wide range of customers-both internal and external.
• Ability to communicate and deal with a variety of people including DP World team members as well as all levels customer from managerial to hourly.
• Excellent trainer skills and abilities.
