Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction LLC is seeking a Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground in Ogden, UT. You will oversee underground telecom crews, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate installation, maintenance, and repair of customer telecommunications equipment.

The role requires knowledge of telecom construction, excavation equipment, utility lines, and proficiency with digger derrick and trenching equipment. Strong supervisory and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3+ years related experience.
• Previous supervisory/managerial experience.
• Project management skills including planning, organizing, coordinating tasks.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and/or repair of telecommunications equipment to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and safety in completion.
• Supervise day-to-day activities and project progress; establish guidance on project execution and ensure compliance with deliverables.
• Ensure clear communication with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist in an area, department or project.
• Identify and address project issues and risks; assist in developing response plans.
• Understand current and future business goals and ongoing issues.
• Implement and maintain processes to complete tasks in support of an area, department, or project.
• Communicate with company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed.

What You’ll Need
