Ervin Cable Construction LLC in Oklahoma is seeking a Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground to oversee underground telecom crews, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate installation, maintenance, and repair of customer equipment.

The role emphasizes supervising day-to-day activities, coordinating project execution, and maintaining clear communication with staff, contractors, vendors, and customers to ensure project success and adherence to deliverables.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a related field or 3 years of related work experience.
• Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and/or repair of telecommunications equipment to ensure accuracy, timeliness and safety in completion.
• Supervise day-to-day activities and project progress; establish guidance on project execution and ensure compliance with predefined project deliverables.
• Ensure excellent communication with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist in an assigned area, department or project.
• Identify and address project issues and risks; assist in developing response plans to resolve them.
• Understand current and future business goals and ongoing issues related to projects.
• Implement and maintain processes to assist completion of tasks in support of an area, department, or project.
• Communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed.

At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications construction; familiarity with excavation equipment, utility lines and poles, and the functionality of each; ability to use digger derrick and trenching equipment; ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.
