Job summary

Texstar Enterprises LLC. is seeking a Supervisor for Telecom Underground in Granbury, TX. This hybrid, salaried role leads construction crews, oversees daily production, schedules staff, and ensures adherence to project specs and safety standards.

You will provide OJT training, manage materials and reports, and coordinate with crews while traveling as required to maintain projects. A strong background in CATV construction and 5–7 years of telecom experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 5–7 years’ experience in Telecommunications industry.
• Leadership and training skills are required.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional organizational skills are essential.
• Microsoft Office and G-Suite knowledge are required.
• Must pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all construction operations to meet customer/specifications and ensure safety and productivity.
• Provide on‑the‑job training for crew members on construction practices.
• Assign daily production to in‑house and subcontract labor and crews.
• Track materials needed for daily operations and reconcile usage.
• Audit operations for compliance and safe work practices.
• Resolve complaints with property owners in project areas.
• Review production reports, hours, and order accurate as‑built maps.

What you’ll do

• Supervise all operations to ensure that all construction operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications. This includes ensuring that all employees working on the project are working safely and productively.
• Provide OJT training for employees working under your direction on construction practices and methods to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
• Assign daily production to in-house and subcontract laborers and crews.
• Assign and track materials needed for the daily operations.
• Perform audits of construction operations to ensure work is being completed in compliance with project specifications and monitor safe work practices.
• Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where our personnel are working.
• Review daily production reports, material usage sheets, keep track of work hours, complete and maintain accurate "as-built maps" for areas built.
• Reconcile all issued parts and materials daily to ensure accurate material usage counts.
• Verify submitted Daily Production Reports for accuracy and approve recorded production for billing purposes.
• Possess a valid driver’s license (class "C" minimum) or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position (possibly class "B" - light commercial)
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical to obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions.
• Willingness to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary.
• Able to perform the physical tasks required in this position for the entire assigned shift.
• Provide verifiable evidence of experience in CATV construction field and prior supervisory experience in construction or related field.
• Travel as required to maintain projects
• Additional duties as assigned
