Job summary

Globe Communications LLC is seeking a Telecommunications Supervisor Construction to supervise and implement the company construction program, ensuring all sites follow construction rules and safety practices. You will oversee project teams, manage budgets, and ensure deliverables align with strategic goals.

The role requires 5+ years in telecom construction, CAD proficiency (AutoCAD/MicroStation), GIS knowledge, and a driver’s license. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive Telecommunications construction experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or advanced training in field.
• Working knowledge of CAD drafting software (AutoCAD/MicroStation).
• Experience with GIS and MS Office Suite.
• 1+ year of leadership or project management experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and execution of projects and plans supporting the organization’s long-term strategy.
• Supervise day-to-day activities and project teams; ensure adherence to project deliverables.
• Provide monthly variance updates and monitor project budgets.
• Identify and mitigate issues and risks; assist in response planning.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with the development and execution of projects and plans supporting the organization's long-term strategy
• Supervise day-to-day activities/project teams and project progress, establish administrative guidance on project execution and ensure compliance with predetermined project deliverables
• Ensure adherence to project budgets and provide updates on monthly variance reports
• Identify and correct project issues and risks, and assist in the development of response plans to resolve
• Understand current and future business goals and ongoing issuesSupervise staff to ensure the organization's construction activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards.

What You’ll Need

• You will have 5 or more years of progressive Telecommunications construction experience
• You will have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• You may have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related industry, or advanced training in the field
• You will have working knowledge of AutoCAD/MicroStation drafting software
• You may have worked knowledge of Geographic Information Systems
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs
• You may have 1 or more years of personnel and functional leadership experience and/or project management experience
• Have a valid driver's license
