Job summary

Envoy Air Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate scheduled maintenance on our aircraft fleets. You will work with MOC, SOC, Inventory Control and Maintenance teams to route and assign maintenance work, ensuring accurate schedules and tracking.

Fleet-specific training and MOCPM familiarity are required for success. Ideal candidates have an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • Able to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.
  • Manage multiple deadlines concurrently with good time management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with all levels of staff.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and have HS diploma or GED.
  • Must hold FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate (waiver possible).
  • Fleet Familiarization Training must be completed for fleet assignment.
  • Familiarity with the MOCPM policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduling of required maintenance checks on aircraft, including time change components and deferrals.
  • Liaise with MOC, SOC, Inventory Control and Maintenance for routing and scheduling.
  • Create and monitor EO/ERS/FCD Tracking Matrix and reconcile with TCS history.
  • Review Preplan and final BOWs for accuracy and scheduling conflicts.
  • Provide oversight for scheduled maintenance activity and train Planners on the fleet type.
  • Resolve problems and assist in developing departmental processes.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating the scheduling of required maintenance checks on aircraft, as assigned. This includes time change components, deferrals, Fleet Campaign Directives and Engineering Orders, including those designated for accomplishment during heavy maintenance checks
  • Coordinates with MOC, SOC, Inventory Control and Maintenance for the routing and assignment of scheduled maintenance
  • Creates and monitors EO/ERS/FCD Tracking Matrix; reconciles completed matrices with TCS history
  • Reviews Preplan and final BOWs (Bill of Work) for accuracy and scheduling conflicts to station capabilities
  • Provides oversight of development and coordination of scheduled maintenance activity, training and direction to Planners on assigned fleet type to ensure timely completion of work
  • Resolves problems, evaluates and assists in development of departmental processes

  • Above-average oral and written communication skills are necessary in this position as well as the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have an High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must hold valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate (requirement may be waived)
  • Must complete Fleet Familiarization Training specific to the fleet type assignment
  • Must be familiar with the applicable portions of the MOCPM (Maintenance Operations Control/Planning Manual) related to performance of their duties and the procedures stated within
