Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Typically requires 3 years of experience in nursing within an operating region or surgical services.
Advanced clinical and technical knowledge of the surgery, endoscopy, and pre-operative and post-operative areas. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills necessary. Ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders and twist frequently during work shift. Will be exposed to the following hazards on a continuous basis: mechanical, electrical, chemical, radiation, blood and body fluids. Will be required to wear gloves, goggles, and gowns on an as-needed basis. Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
