The Supervisor - Surgical Core is responsible for assisting with the operation of the surgical cores, instrument rooms and operating room the prosthesis and supply areas. Coordinates and performs daily activities that support the surgical practice. Provides supervision of staff assigned to the cores, and/or the supply and prosthesis areas, maintenance of inventory, instrumentation, implant management and maintenance and updating of the surgical inventory management system. The individual will be involved in various personnel actions, including hiring staff, staffing the unit, conducting performance appraisals, corrective actions, and processing timecards.
Responsibilities
As a Supervisor in Surgical Core, you’ll lead the teams and systems that ensure surgical cases run safely, efficiently, and without interruption. This role focuses on real-time operational support of the surgical practice, overseeing inventory management, case readiness, and supply flow to ensure the right products and equipment are available when and where they are needed.

About the Surgical Core Team
The Surgical Core supports the operating room through the management of surgical instrumentation, implants, and supply inventory. Teams work closely with OR staff and sterile processing staff to ensure the right instruments and supplies are available and ready when needed.
This is a highly integrated, fast-paced environment where coordination with surgical teams is constant and the work directly impacts case flow, efficiency, and patient safety.
