Support Services Supervisor

Full-time / Evening Shift / 3 pm - 11 pm

Weekends and Holidays Rotation

Support services professionals are the heart of our hospital's mission: Putting Patients First. This includes environmental services, laundry, mail room, security, patient transport, food and nutrition, procurement, and nursing support services— all driven by our passion for exceeding expectations. Empower Environmental Services professionals at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center to deliver exceptional patient experiences. Be the face of caring, proactive customer service within a close-knit team. Act as a liaison to renowned medical staff, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality for all patients and staff. Provide inspiring, action-oriented leadership that fosters consistency, results, and personalized service across the hospital.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Certification to operate a pallet jack and/or motorized pony cart

Required Criteria:

  • Associate's degree from a recognized college or university or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience
  • Familiarity with computers and MS Office Suite
  • Basic knowledge of EVS or support services operations, preferably in a large institution
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards and Quality Assurance
  • Excellent supervisory skills

$74,000-$111,000 per year
