Job summary

Bally's in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Floor Supervisor to oversee a team of Floor People, Lead Cashiers, and Cashiers in their area. The role enforces policies, safeguards assets, and coordinates daily slot operations.

You will interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff, and ensure performance aligns with casino standards. The position requires working in a loud environment, including smoking areas, with exposure to moving parts and electric risk.

• Exercises supervisory control over Floor People, Lead Cashiers, and Cashiers in their designated area.
• Enforces policies and procedures.
• Safeguard of all assets in their control.
• Approves slot machine payoffs and fills.
• Observes and evaluates slot personnel.
• Verifies and signs checkout reports and booth buys.
• Supervises a unit of subordinate employees and oversees overall direction, coordination, and evaluation.
• Interviews, hires, and trains employees; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplining employees; addresses complaints and resolving problems.

• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Will work with jet sorts, coin rollers, and slot machines on a daily basis.

Must be able to work in a smoking environment.

Target Salary Range:

• 17.25/ Hour
