Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is currently hiring a Full-Time Shift Supervisor in Gainesville, Florida. You will oversee the activities of dining associates, ensuring job expectations are met, and maintain policy compliance. Ideal candidates will have supervisory, food service, and customer service experience.

Schedule

AM/PM shifts available, weekend shifts. Details discussed during interview.

Pay

$17.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour

Job Summary

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating employee performance, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Act as contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
