Compass Group is seeking a Full Time Shift Supervisor at UF Admin-Racquet Club Dining Center in Gainesville, FL. The successful candidate will direct shift activities, train staff, and ensure policy compliance, quality, and safety. AM/PM and weekend shifts are available, with a competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits.

Reporting to Chartwells Higher Ed, this role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, and performance evaluation to drive excellent dining services for students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance of workers, reward high performers and address discipline as needed.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• We are hiring immediately for a FULL TIME SHIFT SUPERVISOR position.

• Requirement :Supervisory, Food Service, Customer Service experience required.

• Pay Range: $17.00 per hour to $30.00per hour.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.

• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.

• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.

• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.

• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
