Supervisor, Senior Team Leader (2nd Shift) (Bothell, WA)

Position: Supervisor, Sr. Team Leader, 2nd Shift (2:30pm-11pm)

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor oversees production personnel, manages workflow, and ensures effective utilization of equipment, materials, and labor in Medical Device manufacturing areas.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee product flow, address technical issues, and manage employee relations in production areas.
  • Meet production deadlines and efficiency goals.
  • Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods and product quality.
  • Interpret and enforce safety regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure accuracy of Device History Records for completed production.
  • Create staffing and training plans based on schedules.
  • Conduct employee assessments and evaluations.
  • Support new product introduction activities.
  • Oversee manufacturing of medical device products, ensuring quality standards and SOP compliance.
  • Collaborate with Planning, QA, Engineering, and support departments to meet production requirements and resolve issues.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and addressing employee issues.
  • Lead projects for continuous improvement.
Supervision and Experience
  • Work effectively with minimal supervision, taking direction from the Manufacturing Manager.
  • Five+ years of related production experience in high-mix, low-volume medical device manufacturing.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience in GMP environments, specifically in assembly and packaging.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; capable of learning MS Project, Visio, ERP systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities; supervisory training preferred.
  • Lean and Six Sigma Green/Black Belt training a plus.
  • Understanding of GMPs and FDA regulations.
Skills and Physical Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Basic math, reading, and interpretation skills for procedures and drawings.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform light material handling.
Work Environment and Safety

Light manufacturing environment with low to moderate noise levels. Commitment to safety and a healthy work environment.

Compensation and Equal Opportunity
