Job summary

Tennessee State Veterans Home – Knoxville is seeking an RN Supervisor Full-Time for (3) Twelve‑Hour Night Shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., alternating weekends.

The Supervisor will oversee nursing staff, ensure quality patient care, and provide guidance while maintaining regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring care plans and documentation are complete, collaborating with health professionals, and monitoring inventories.

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license.
• Experience in a healthcare or nursing home setting with management or supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best‑practice standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, assign tasks and evaluate performance.
• Ensure patient care plans are followed and documentation is accurate and complete.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Monitor medication and supply inventories, reorder as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.

SALARY RANGE: $35.26 to $48.67
