Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with supervisory responsibilities to lead staff and students in a clinical setting. You will care for neonates through adolescents and occasionally adults, applying diagnostic assessments and therapeutic procedures.

You must hold NBRC certification, Texas licensure, and BLS, with prior supervisory experience preferred. Join a comprehensive team within a major tertiary care network in Dallas.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an NBRC-recognized Respiratory Care program.
• Minimum of two years college.
• Two years’ experience in respiratory care is required.
• Credentialed as CRT or RRT by NBRC.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provided.
• Experience in a supervisory position preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain clinical expertise as a Registered Respiratory Therapist while supervising staff and students.
• Care for neonates through adolescents; occasional work with adults.
• Exercise judgment within the medical plan of care, department policy and licensure acts.
• Apply respiratory therapeutics knowledge and interpret diagnostic assessments.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Maintains clinical expertise and practices as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. In addition, supervises staff, and students in the clinical setting.

Must have the ability to communicate and care for neonates through the adolescent patient population with occasional work with adults.

Requires knowledge, ability and judgment necessary to: exercise judgment within the guidelines of the medical plan of care, department policy and licensure practice acts.

Must possess knowledge of respiratory therapeutics and the correlation of diagnostic assessment.

Apply scientific knowledge; use a variety of respiratory equipment; and perform multiple technical procedures.

Make discriminating observation.

Must be capable of performing CPR without limitation, and respond to all emergent situations to manage the patients’ respiratory status.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by the NBRC.

• Two years’ experience in respiratory care is required.
• Credentialed as CRT or RRT by NBRC.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
