We’re looking for a Research Supervisor to join our team to manage staff and ensure all team members are properly trained and working at the highest capacity. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring the team works with efficiency and that departmental goals are regularly met. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive industry knowledge of trading cards (sports and TCG), be an expert in PSA’s authentication and grading standards, and will be able to add experience and depth to our Research team through both their expertise in the content but also their training and leadership skills. This role reports to the Research Manager and will be based on-site at our Santa Ana, CA location and on our 2nd shift.

What You’ll Do:
  • Supervise the staffing, training, and scheduling of department personnel.

  • Plan employee work priorities to meet daily operations goals.

  • Create effective solutions for issues that arise within the Department.
  • Ensure that all team members are using the appropriate resources to identify items.
  • Actively devise strategies to maintain acceptable service levels.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure proper procedures are followed and devise techniques to improve team efficiency.
  • Implement improvements to keep error percentage to a minimum.
  • Act as a knowledgeable and accessible resource for team members.
  • Interact with our internal customers and ensure open lines of communication between departments
  • Lead by example and be a champion of all company policies, including safety, attendance & security.
Who You Are:
  • 5+ years of professional experience including 3+ years in a fulfillment, manufacturing (or related role) environment and 2+ years in a managerial/supervisory role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, including an ability to understand and relay company policies/procedures.
  • Dependable and personable team player who works well with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data-driven problem solver with an understanding of general business implications of decisions.
  • Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment with little room for error.
  • Influential leader who can inspire/motivate others and effectively drive change within the department.
  • Strong project management and planning/organizational skills; ability to develop and execute realistic action plans.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within trading cards, tickets and other forms of sports and non-sports collectibles.

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $69,000-$75,000. Actual compensation varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set. Collectors uses e-Verify to validate your ability to work legally in the United States.
