Job summary

PG&E in Fresno seeks a Supervisor, System Operations & Control to lead frontline operators in a 24/7 control center. You will monitor grid performance, coordinate outage responses, and drive safe, compliant decision-making during routine and emergency conditions.

This role requires flexibility for static or rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Overtime is expected during high-demand periods and PSPS activations, with a strong emphasis on safety and team leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3 years relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; supervisory experience a plus.
• Knowledge of electric distribution system concepts and equipment.
• Experience supervising bargaining unit employees.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Understanding of outage restoration processes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily execution of the Control Center System Operators and Lead System Operators.
• Lead team and coordinate with field supervision to improve reliability and customer communications.
• Review outage documentation and ensure logs are complete and compliant.
• Track status of equipment repairs for the COE process.
• Manage deadlines for mandated compliance and safety training.
• Manage budget and overtime spend.
• Supervise staff to recruit, train, and develop; set shift schedules.
