Job summary

UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs, CO is seeking a Radiology Supervisor to oversee daily radiology staff operations on an onsite basis. You will supervise staffing, coach team members, and ensure service quality within department policies.

Requirements include ARRT RT, NMTCB CNMT or ARDMS RDMS credentials and at least 2 years of related experience; BLS/CPR is required before start. The role offers a full-time schedule with a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT RT certification OR NMTCB CNMT OR ARDMS RDMS eligibility or active credentials.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• BLS/CPR for the Professional Rescuer with active card through 60 days after hire.

Department: YVMC Radiology

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Flex

Pay: $43.70 - $61.17 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary:

Supervises the daily activities of assigned radiology staff.

Responsibilities:

• Determines, coordinates, and supervises daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.




• Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.




• Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.




• Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.




• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.




• Registered as a Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).




• 2 years of related experience.




• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
