Job description

DP World North America is a growing global contract logistics provider with operations in over 40 countries at 95 separate sites within Automotive and Technology divisions. We operate highly complex and technical 4-walled warehouses for our global clients.

Quality Supervisor will ensure that the services provided by DP World meet the highest standards of quality. This is a completely remote role and would require travel to sites of DPW across North America.

About the Role

How you will contribute

• Administer all reports and documentation relative to assigned processes, i.e., PFMEAs, PPAP, operator instructions, and Control Plans. Generate, interpret, and analyze management tools, graphs, reports, etc., and communicate to team members as required.
• Assist in design and development of irreversible corrective actions for known problems.
• Coordinate implementation of build changes, NCO, etc., with production personnel.
• Maintain a professional level of services to all internal/external customers/staff.
• Develop recommendations on a cost-benefit initiative, document enhancement, provide plans, and affect implementation and attainment of results.
• Provide technical advice to other disciplines within the organization, investigate problems, and provide answers. Plan and carry out all special assignments/projects as required.
• Champion ISO efforts to gain and maintain certification.
• Manage quality personnel including auditors by assigning work, training/teaching/coaching quality personnel, monitoring performance, etc. Interact with staff within the location and within the Company and all customer and prospective customer representatives.
• Lead Management Review Meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• College with a Technical degree is preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience working in an automotive or logistics environment in a quality capacity is preferred.
• Knowledge of different standards, i.e., ISO 9001, 14001.
• Proficiency in the Spanish language strongly preferred.
• Proficiency on computers and Microsoft Office products.
• Interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills - written and oral to deal with a wide range of customers, both internal and external.
