A leading company in aerospace is seeking a Supervisor for Production in Starlink Kit Production. This role involves overseeing production teams, ensuring quality standards, and implementing operational improvements in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience, with strong leadership and lean manufacturing skills. The position requires night shifts and offers competitive compensation and benefits, including stock options and health coverage.
SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today, SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.
SUPERVISOR, PRODUCTION (STARLINK KIT PRODUCTION) - NIGHT SHIFT
SpaceX is developing a low latency, broadband internet system to meet the needs of consumers across the globe. Enabled by a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites, Starlink will provide fast, reliable internet to populations with little or no connectivity, including those in rural communities and places where existing services are too expensive or unreliable.
We are looking for a hard-driving and well-rounded leader, capable of taking charge of a broad array of responsibilities. You will be the boots-on-the-ground production area owner, recruiting and training the production team who will operate and maintain the production equipment. You will be responsible for establishing operational standards and shepherding the organization from initial parts into a disciplined production entity. This role requires the capability to rapidly become a subject matter expert on complex, process-intensive production operations, and to operate successfully within a chaotic startup environment while implementing structure and discipline.
