Job Details

Summary: This role involves maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring a safe working environment. Responsibilities include understanding and controlling the production process, record keeping, line maintenance, and staffing.

Responsibilities:
  1. Check daily production orders to ensure customer orders are fulfilled.
  2. Ensure all positions are filled before production start.
  3. Oversee team member exercises and job rotations for ergonomics.
  4. Maintain machinery performance standards.
  5. Ensure workstations pass USDA inspections.
  6. Promote daily safety and conduct safety meetings.
  7. Manage shipments, inventory rotation, and product coding.
  8. Communicate company benefits and policies to team members.
  9. Encourage and build a strong team environment.
  10. Perform human relations functions such as training, retention, and counseling.
  11. Collaborate with other supervisors to resolve operational issues.
  12. Keep records of reworked or returned products.
  13. Educate on the importance of quality.
  14. Perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Resume submission required.
  • Experience: 1 year in manufacturing and supervisory roles or equivalent education (bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Education: High school diploma; additional education or training preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Basic skills helpful.
  • Communication Skills: Strong required.
  • Supervisory Experience: Managing a team performing similar tasks.
  • Travel: 1-5 trips annually.
