ATC is seeking a Production Supervisor in Oklahoma City to manage production employees, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves hiring, training, and evaluating staff while optimizing production methods to enhance productivity.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least three years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting. You will oversee up to 120 employees and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
The Production Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of production employees and must comply with all safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, improving, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups. Ability to communicate effectively with oral and written communication including telephone conversation.
Ability to operate proficiently a PC computer; use effectively word processing, spreadsheet and database software applications. Ability to draft and format memos, emails, spreadsheets, and graphs. Ability to navigate and perform duties in enterprise ERP and time‑keeping software systems.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to interpret company and departmental financial data.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
