Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing/processing operations in progressively responsible positions or a related bachelor’s degree.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or related field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Meet product standards, while maintaining or improving product yield.
• Ensure a safe work environment and monitor production line issues.
• Complete appropriate paperwork daily.
• Responsible for training and developing employees.
• Work to improve products and processes.
• Help develop objectives and standards for production lines and monitor results.
• Observe the plant to report hazards and ensure safety investigations are handled promptly.
