Job summary

Rheem North America in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Supervisor, Product Development Laboratory to lead the Product Development Testing team, encompassing engineers, technicians, model makers and modal strain personnel.

The role focuses on directing resources, reviewing lab work orders, and ensuring training, setup, testing and equipment use are in place to deliver successful product development projects and sustaining engineering efforts. This position is on-site in Montgomery, AL.

• Supervise Product Development Testing team activities including engineers, technicians, model makers and modal strain personnel.
• Allocate resources to complete activities for product development projects and sustaining engineering.
• Review and assign laboratory work orders to team members.
• Ensure training, setup, testing, and equipment use are provided to support activities.

Job description

TheSupervisor, Product Development Laboratoryisresponsible for supervising assigned Product Development Testing team activities comprising one or more of the following: engineers, technicians, model makers and modal strain personnel. Assigned responsibility will be related to one or more of the following: product engineering support, laboratory testing, model making, and/or modal strain testing. Key responsibilities include assignment and follow up of resources to complete all activities required to support assigned product development project and sustaining engineering activities. Reviews and assigns laboratory work orders to team members. Ensures proper training, setup, testing, equipment use are provided or utilized to support successful completion of assigned activities.

This position will serve Rheem North America, and located in Montgomery AL. This is a on‑site position.
