MaineHealth in Stephens Hospital seeks a Supervisor of Clinical Operations to lead our Medical Assistant staff, ensuring high-quality patient care across practices. You will oversee daily operations, provide guidance to clinicians, and foster a collaborative team environment using your hands-on clinical leadership.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 160 hours MA clinical experience or six months MA program; or 1 year MA in multi-provider setting.
• Current AAMA/NHA/AMT/NCCT certification; BLS within 30 days; NH Med Tech License for NH sites.

Supervisor - Clinical Operations

Are you an experienced Medical Assistant ready to take the next step in your career? Join our team as a Supervisor of Clinical Operations, where you'll play an important leadership role supporting our Medical Assistant staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

In this role, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned practices, provide guidance and support to clinical staff, and help foster a positive, collaborative team environment. This is a great opportunity to use your hands-on clinical experience and leadership skills to make a meaningful impact on both our team and the patients we serve.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. Must meet one of the following requirements:

Graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed; or completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and six months of clinical experience in a practice setting; or one year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (equivalent experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis).
3. License/Certifications: Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. An NH Med Tech License is required for those positions located in New Hampshire.
4. Experience: Five years of experience working in a multi-physician medical practice as a Medical Assistant required. Supervisory experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $27.27to $36.88 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
