UK King's Daughters in Ashland, KY seeks a Clinical Operations Supervisor to oversee daily patient care, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality service delivery across telemetry.
You will supervise staff, coordinate scheduling, coach performance, comply with clinical standards, and partner with nursing, physicians and ancillary teams to improve throughput and patient satisfaction.

Job Description: Job Summary Responsible for overseeing daily patient care operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. Provides direct supervision of assigned staff and coordinates workflow to support optimal patient throughput and satisfaction. Ensures compliance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork. Collaborates with interdisciplinary leaders to align patient care activities with organizational goals and performance metrics.
Education Requirement High school diploma or equivalent experience Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
Experience Requirement 0-4 years of relevant supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of training and supervisory/team lead experience typically required An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
Successful completion of the certification or registry examination as administered by the KBEMS. Holds a current National or Kentucky Paramedic Registry status. Two years of experience in the Emergency department setting. Achieves and maintains American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS). Achieves and maintains American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS),NVCI, Hazmat Operational level, PHTLS.
Physical Demands This position requires intermittent sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; and performing tasks with repetitive motions such as typing; and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; and lifting, pushing and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Also involves some exposure to risk or injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; and exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, and bloodborne or airborne pathogens.
