Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations within packing department, ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and safety expectations are consistently met.
  • Lead and support employees responsible for packing and processing pull tab products.
  • Coordinate production workflows across multiple packing lines and high-volume SKU-based product runs.
  • Provide leadership on the production floor by troubleshooting operational issues, supporting line efficiency, and ensuring teams stay on schedule.
  • Monitor packing quality, product counts, labeling, and finished goods to ensure accuracy and compliance with production standards.
  • Train and develop team members while reinforcing safety procedures, quality expectations, and company policies.
  • Work closely with production planning, quality, and maintenance teams to address production challenges and maintain consistent throughput.
  • Track production performance, downtime, and efficiency to help identify areas for improvement.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to packing workflows, line efficiency, and overall output.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety within the production environment.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Position Summary

Trade Products is looking for a Packing Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for leading daily packing activities, assigning work, supporting employees, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient manufacturing environment. The Packing Supervisor will help drive productivity, quality, employee development, safety, and continuous improvement across the department.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $80,169–$92,000 per year

Primary Responsibilities

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience supervising direct reports in a high-volume, labor-intensive manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of production planning, process flow, and manufacturing operations.
  • Previous experience in a printing environment desired.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality control, and continuous improvement.
  • Prior leadership, mentoring, coaching, or supervisory training is a plus.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to coach employees, hold teams accountable, and support a positive team environment.
