Job summary

Sharp Services, LLC seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee 20–60 workers in the Production Department at our Allentown facility. You will ensure packaging operations meet specifications, safety rules, and production schedules while guiding frontline teams toward shared goals.

You will train staff, coordinate across departments, maintain records, and drive continuous improvements in methods, equipment, and product quality to help our clients deliver life-saving products.

Qualifications

• Study production orders to ascertain type and quantity of product and packaging requirements.
• Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
• Interpret specifications and job orders to workers, and assign duties.
• Observe packaging operations.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew.
• Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.
• Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
• Maintain time and production records.
• Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise 20 to 60 employees in the Production Department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Ensure packaging operations are carried out safely and efficiently in alignment with production schedules.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet overall production goals.
