Job summary

Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO seeks a Supply Chain Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations and supervise all assigned staff in the distribution department.

You will ensure timely receipt processing, inventory monitoring, requisition fulfillment, and collaboration with buyers to expedite substitutions and emergency deliveries, while participating in hiring, training and evaluations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of experience in supply chain or warehousing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures receipts are processed and delivered within 24 hours of loading dock.
• Ensures requisitions from warehouse are filled and delivered next business day.
• Monitors daily inventory and replenishment of par closet locations.
• Expedites par changes and emergency deliveries with the buyer.
• Participates in hiring, training, evaluations and disciplinary actions for distribution staff.
• Tracks 856 auto-receiving transactions and reports PO issues.
• Collaborates with employees, suppliers and distributors to minimize waste.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Overview

Job Summary: Responsible for the daily operations of supply chain operations. Supervises the work of all assigned employees. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures that regular receipts are processed and delivered to customers within 24 hours of delivery to the organization’s loading dock and that all overnight shipments are processed and delivered on the date of receipt.
• Ensures that all requisitions from the warehouse are filled accurately and delivered to the customer the next business day.
• Responsible of monitoring daily inventory and replenishment of all par closet locations that are the responsibility of supply chain.
• Ensures that all requests for par changes are completed expeditiously.
• Stock out situations will be identified promptly by the supply chain tech to the Supervisor and communicated to the Operations Manager and stock buyer.
• Works with the buyer to expedite, identify substitutes and distribute emergency deliveries upon receipt.
• Participates in the hiring, training, annual evaluations and disciplinary action, if needed, of all employees in the distribution department in conjunction with the Operations Manager.
• Ensures the daily tracking of the 856 (auto-receiving) and that the transactions are working and correctly applying to the purchase order.
• Immediately share with the Operations Manager any issues with the 856 (auto-receiving) failing.
• Working with organization employees and customers, suppliers, and distributors to ensure low waste/expiration of supplies.
• Collaboration will also be necessary to ensure product moves smoothly from warehouse to distribution locations.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
