Job summary

City of Hallandale Beach seeks a supervisory professional to lead a team performing street maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and signage work. The role coordinates daily tasks to maximize efficiency and ensures alignment with infrastructure project goals.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in business management or related field, 2+ years in construction/maintenance, and a valid Florida Class B CDL with a clean record. NIMS certification or enrollment within one year is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business management or related field.
• Two (2) or more years' experience relating to construction operations, utilities, maintenance, or repair work; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
• Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment.
• Must have a valid Florida Class B commercial driver's license with satisfactory driving record throughout employment.
• Note: Five or more years' experience related to construction, utilities, maintenance, or repair work may be credited for up to two (2) years of the associate degree requirement.

• Schedules and coordinate daily work activities to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Requires a comprehensive understanding and broad application of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to street maintenance, sidewalks, and signage functions.
• In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.
