Qualifications

Job description

The District is seeking a dynamic and experienced educational leader to serve as Supervisor of Special Education. The successful candidate will provide leadership, supervision, and support for special education programs and services while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities include supervising special education staff, supporting effective instructional practices, overseeing student programming and services, collaborating with administrators, teachers, and families, and promoting an inclusive educational environment that meets the diverse needs of students.

Qualifications:

• Prior administrative/supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of special education regulations, including IDEA and NJ special education requirements
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader committed to student success, staff development, and continuous improvement of special education services.

Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Full time 12-month staff are eligible for Medical, Prescription, and Dental benefits. Sick, Personal, Vacation days are included.
