Job summary

Williams is seeking a Supervisor of Project Controls in Power for its Houston, TX portfolio. The role leads a team of project controls professionals overseeing cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and performance reporting across power generation and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include developing standard processes, mentoring staff, and ensuring alignment with execution strategies and budgets to deliver reliable outcomes for a growing energy portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, engineering or business related field required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project controls or project management.
  • Demonstrates formal or informal leadership experience/expertise.
  • Familiar with project financials, scheduling and capital cost management strategies.
  • Understanding of the full project life cycle and risk evaluation procedures (e.g., Monte Carlo, CPM).

  • Oversees the activities of team members to ensure performance and issue resolution.

As **Supervisor of Project Controls** in Power , you will lead a team of project controls professionals supporting Williams' portfolio of power generation, electrical infrastructure, and strategic energy projects that help meet the growing power demands of hyperscale customers and other large-scale energy users. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment alongside Project Execution leadership, engineering teams, EPC contractors, procurement, and key business stakeholders, you will help drive project success through effective cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and performance reporting. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and mentoring a high-performing team, implementing standardized project controls processes and tools, and ensuring projects remain aligned with execution strategies, schedules, and budgets.
