Salary

Summary

Supervise, organize, and oversee daily DMV office operations focusing on customer service, transaction accuracy, and petty cash management, ensuring compliance with business practices and processes.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in business management, administration, information systems, accounting, or related field. Additional education may substitute for experience.
  • Two years' experience in public contact roles with supervisory or administrative duties. Additional experience may substitute for education.
  • Valid driver's license and transportation for statewide travel.
Additional Requirements
  • Criminal record and motor vehicle record checks.
  • Completion of an intensive multi-week training program.
  • Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and travel.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise DMV personnel at satellite offices, ensuring high customer service standards.
  • Verify security of cash terminals and maintain accurate cash and transaction records.
  • Process applications and transactions accurately in the DMV database.
  • Manage daily closeouts, deposits, and petty cash.
  • Implement procedures to prevent theft and fraud.
  • Support employee evaluations, training, and scheduling.
  • Assist with policy implementation and maintain confidentiality of records.
