Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a full-time Supervisor, Multi-Modalities I to lead the Nuclear Medicine/PET team at Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte. Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of experience in Radiology required.
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the Nuclear Medicine/PET team, spending 75% in the patient care area.
  • Responsible for driving quality and safety in multiple imaging modalities.
  • Assists physicians in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.

Novant Health is hiring a full-time, Supervisor, Multi-Modalities I at Presbyterian Medical Center. This position supervises the Nuclear Medicine/PET team at Presbyterian Medical Center.

The Multimodality Radiology Supervisor provides leadership to multiple imaging modalities and will be responsible for effectively and efficiently driving on-going quality and safety. The Multimodality Radiology Supervisor assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures.   • Experience:Minimum of three years of experience in Radiology, required. Minimum of two years of experience in supervision, required.
  • Licensure/Certification:Certified and registered in two or more of the following: Radiography, CT, MR, Mammography, Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography, Vascular Interventional, Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, or PET Certification and registration may be through the ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB, required.
  • Additional Skills (required):Ability to successful complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Exhibits leadership characteristics to include: listening to gain understanding, keeps promises made, supports the organization in word and deed, supports team members, communicates effectively and asks for feedback, makes fair decisions based on the needs of all team members, shares knowledge to improve and challenge team members to be their best, treats others with fairness and respect, chooses competent, compatible team members, visualizes the big picture for the entire department/departments as we relate to the organization, creates a personal connection with team members that fosters mutual respect, has a work ethic which is a model for team members motivating them through encouragement and the vision for their department/departments.
