City of Hope Orange County - Job Opportunity

City of Hope Orange County is transforming cancer treatment by bringing world-class expertise and specialized care closer to home. Supported by a regional network of care, our 11-acre academic cancer campus in Irvine is home to the City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center, our outpatient cancer center, and Orange County's only cancer specialty hospital, opening in late 2025.

With the opening of the hospital, the full continuum of advanced cancer care—from prevention through survivorship—will be available in Orange County for the first time, eliminating the need to travel for lifesaving treatment. The new clinical research hospital will feature 73 inpatient beds, advanced surgical suites, groundbreaking clinical trials, and holistic services such as rehabilitative therapy and spiritual care. This isn't standard cancer care. This is lifesaving cancer care. This is Hope.

Night shift schedule is generally 11pm to 7:30 am

Position Overview

The Supervisor is responsible for the efficient management of the OR Surgical Supply, Warehouse Operations/General Stores, Research Stores staff, supply order and inventory, shipping and receiving, and equipment/furniture moves.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare work schedules, assign personnel, evaluate work performance, and make recommendations for personnel actions.
• Maintain records of deliveries and signatures of recipients.
• Inspect areas daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards, taking corrective actions when violations occur.
• Direct maintenance of department facilities, equipment, and materials to promote efficiency and safety.
• Ensure all materials and equipment are received, stored, and shipped efficiently and timely. Develop and maintain quality assurance and performance improvement records and techniques for the department.

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

• Associate's Degree or 2 years of experience in hospital or clinical operations within a materials management, supply chain, or warehouse environment (experience outside the industry can also be considered).
• 2 years of experience in healthcare, warehouse, and storeroom operations.

Additional Information

Job Status: Full-time, exempt

Salary Range: $68,640 - $111,072

City of Hope employees' pay is based on work experience, qualifications, and work location.
