Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Distribution Center Leader in Denver to supervise outbound operations across multiple shifts. You will coach up to 20 team members, ensure accurate receipt and fulfillment, and drive process improvements for safety, quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include data analysis, trend reporting, and leading DC-wide projects while fostering a positive culture and compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• 2+ years leadership in a high-volume, multi-shift DC.
• Ability to lift 60+ lbs. as needed.
• Analytical, data mining and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train and develop direct reports.
• Strong time management for shift planning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with complex functions.
• Compliant with OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an outbound operations team in a high-volume, multi-shift DC.
• Ensure accurate product receipt, order fulfillment, and optimization.
• Teach and coach up to 20 team members on the floor.
• Promote programs for an engaged, empowered team.
• Gather and analyze production, safety, quality, cycle time, and financial data.
• Provide coaching and support for team improvement.
• Communicate trends and issues to leadership.
• Support DC-wide projects and meet deliverables.
• Foster a positive, fair, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.
• Interview, train, assign, and evaluate performance; recognize and discipline.
• Demonstrate root-cause thinking and continuous improvement.
• Teach standard processes and link to customer experience.
• Follow audit systems to ensure policy compliance (OSHA/DOT/EPA).
• Report to the Manager, Distribution Process.

• Work on the production floor teaching and coaching up to 20 team members
• Promote programs that create an engaged and empowered team environment
• Gather and analyze production, safety, quality, cycle time, financial, and other performance data
• Provide coaching opportunities and support team improvement
• Communicate trends and issues to the leadership team
• Support distribution-center-wide projects and complete deliverables by commitment dates
• Foster a positive, fair, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture
• Interview, train, assign, and direct work; identify development goals; complete performance evaluations; provide recognition and disciplinary action
• Demonstrate root-cause thinking and identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Teach team members the rationale for standard processes and their role in customer experience
• Follow audit systems to ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations
• Report to the Manager, Distribution Process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
• 2+ years previous leadership or supervisor experience in a high-volume, multi-shift, order fulfillment distribution center
• Ability to lift 60+ lbs. may be needed
• Self-motivated, curious, analytical, and data mining skills
• Ability to teach and develop direct reports
• Strong time management skills to plan shifts
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, including complex functions
• Ability to comply with company policies and governmental regulations, including OSHA, DOT, and EPA requirements
