Qualifications

• AS or BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience supervising in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills in a data-driven team.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methods and Theory of Constraints.
• Compliance with safety, cleanroom, and regulatory requirements.

Job Description

As we continue to expand our manufacturing operations and grow our workforce, we are seeking a dynamic, safety-focused Production Supervisor to lead our Front Half Day Shift manufacturing team across our 24x7 semiconductor fabrication operation. Th is leadership role is critical to driving operational excellence in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment through proactive quality management, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives. A Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring safety and quality standards are met, optimizing production workflows, coaching and developing team members, and fostering collaboration across shifts and departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills and be committed to building a positive, high-performing culture that supports our continued growth and success.

Front Half Day Shift Schedule:

Sunday - Tuesday, Every Other Wednesday

7:00am - 7:00pm

Responsibilities

Safety & Operational Excellence

Promote and role - model a Zero Injury Safety culture while ensuring compliance with safety policies, cleanroom protocols, 5S standards, and regulatory requirements.

Drive a culture of accountability, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.

Support Lean Manufacturing and Enterprise Excellence initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.

Production Oversight

Lead a team of 2 0 + Operators and Leads to safely achieve daily production, quality, and productivity goals.

Monitor production performance and respond quickly to operational issues affecting output, quality, or schedule attainment.

Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams to support efficient manufacturing operations.

Support new product introductions, process changes, and manufacturing improvement initiatives.

Quality Leadership

Promote a zero-defect mindset and ensure adherence to manufacturing procedures and specifications.

Lead problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, and root cause analysis.

Escalate and drive resolution of quality issues while reinforcing process discipline within the team.

Team Leadership & Development

Coach, develop, and motivate Operators and Leads to achieve individual and team performance goals.

Conduct performance discussions, provide regular feedback, and support employee development activities.

Partner with Production Managers on staffing, onboarding, training, and cross-training initiatives.

Foster a positive, engaged, and inclusive team environment.

Communication & Collaboration

Maintain effective communication with employees, peer supervisors, Production Managers, and support organizations.

Ensure smooth shift pass-downs and alignment across all manufacturing shifts.

Communicate production priorities, performance results, and operational concerns in a timely manner .

Participate in required training and development opportunities to enhance technical and leadership capabilities.

Stay current on manufacturing best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

• AS or BS degree and/or equivalent experience supervising in a manufacturing environment . Degree and study in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or other technical fields is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of direct reports in a manufacturing environment . Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as you will be working in a team environment that is very data driven.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methods & Theory of Constraints.
