Job summary

Qnity in Newark, DE is seeking a First Line Leader to guide a day-shift manufacturing team. You will model Qnity Core Values, plan shift activities, and drive safety, quality, and performance on the production floor.

The role requires 2+ years in industrial/manufacturing leadership, Lean knowledge, and ability to coach teams. A high school diploma is required, with Associate's or Bachelor's preferred. On-site position with weekend/overtime as needed.

• Organizes and manages staffing levels to ensure adequate support for production needs
• Addresses employee relations and performance issues effectively during the shift.
• Able to provide coverage on weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays as scheduled, on a regular basis; Able to work overtime as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, military, or similar setting
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and operations.
• Knowledge of process safety and personal safety principles
• Experience using digital tools and systems.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Hours and Shift

This is a day shift leadership position supporting a continuous manufacturing operation. The First Line Leader is expected to maintain a regular presence on the production floor and will be required to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, holidays, and overtime, to support business needs, production requirements, and employee development.
