Overview

Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company specializing in orthopedics. We are seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for our Weekend Shift (Friday to Sunday, 6 am to 6 pm). Prior experience in a machining environment is required.

Main Objective

To oversee and manage the manufacturing department, ensuring the production of high-quality products that meet or exceed client expectations profitably.

Responsibilities
  1. Recommend staffing levels based on production needs.
  2. Monitor and report on daily production schedules.
  3. Contribute to the introduction of new products and processes.
  4. Manage operator rotation and address process issues.
  5. Ensure equipment maintenance and employee performance management.
  6. Maintain effective communication across shifts and teams.
  7. Ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to policies.
  8. Provide training and development opportunities.
  9. Implement corrective actions to minimize scrap.
  10. Stay compliant with ISO/FDA and quality policies.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience, preferably in machining.
  • At least 3 years leadership experience in a machining environment.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing and in regulated industries is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
Skills

  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and data.
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
