Availability for all shifts and exempt status are noted. The position emphasizes supervising hourly staff, coordinating schedules, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across production areas.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of manufacturing supervisory, lead, or training experience.
• High school diploma required; Associate/Bachelor degree preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and proactive follow-up.
• Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Reliable attendance and strong written and verbal communication.

Description

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily operations within the manufacturing facility, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. This role provides hands‑on leadership, oversees shift operations, and plays an essential part in workforce planning. Candidates must be available to work all shifts.

This position is based out of Koroseal’s Louisville manufacturing facility and reports directly to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and maintain a safe working environment; provide safety training for all associates.
• Conduct and document Job Safety Analysis (JSA) training when associates transition to new operations.
• Ensure customer quality standards are understood and consistently achieved.
• Support and drive quality and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Monitor equipment capability and address quality issues through daily troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with Technical, Design, and Process Engineering teams to support new product introductions and process enhancements.
• Lead continuous process improvement efforts across assigned production areas.
• Manage production schedules in alignment with order complexity and minimum requirements.
• Track and reduce scrap and waste generation.
• Supervise full-time hourly employees, manage schedules, and maintain accurate time records.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory, lead, or training role.
• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive follow‑up mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Reliable attendance and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
• Forklift certification or willingness to complete forklift training
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Computer literacy is a plus
• Must pass a physical, drug screening, and background check
• Other duties as assigned
